This weekend your photography challenge is to capture and share with us something that you enjoy about your weekend.

Eliano Fanuel Tampieri sparked the idea on Facebook (and it was seconded by others) and I thought it might be a good theme, particularly as many of you in the USA have a long weekend this weekend (which I hope will be filled with enjoyable moments to choose from).

So really anything goes this weekend – you could take a portrait of a friend or family member that you enjoyed spending time with, photograph a party that you attend, take your camera on an outing to the pub, park, beach or som other fun place… it’s totally up to you.

Remember – to succeed in taking a picture of your weekend…. you need to pack the camera!

Once you’ve taken your “Weekend” image, upload it to your favourite photo sharing site and either share a link to it below or embed it in the comments using the our new tool to do so. Please also tell us what type of camera phone you were using!
