my approach is basically to capture life and moments I unfortunately feel the need for a fantastic point and shoot more than a DSLR! But still aim to buy my first DSLR sometime soon…at the moment I am using a 6 year old Canon S3IS and it has been a fantastic companion

My focus is on wildlife photography. It’s the challenge of finding the wildlife, then getting the shot before the subject moves away. For four days (4th of July weekend) I will be in Seiney National Wildlife Refuge in Michigan’s Upper Penninsula to try and find Bear, Moose, Wolf, otter and anything else I can find. My favorite photographer is Moose Peterson. Moose is a very down to earth kind of a guy who knows probably more than anyone about wildlife photography and how to make a photo “POP”.
