Any comments on Noise Ninja? I have a recent shoot where the noise was a real problem, and I'd like to salvage some shots.

I really like experimenting with night shots as finds this adds a different element to what you see on a daily basis in the light. Found this a useful review and will check out the book before possibly buying.

I think part of the reason for the "fascination when things we’re ‘accustomed to seeing in daylight are transformed … when viewed at night.'" is that at night we're dependent upon neon and other lights that cast a very, very different quality of light than the sun. For example, check out the night shots in my Coney Island set.

The review seems to focus on techniques to take "normal" shots (portraits, action, etc.) in low light situations -- with faster lenses, higher ISO, etc. But with a name like "... NIGHT & Low Light Photography", I'd hope that the book also focuses on dark photography of a different type -- such as long exposures, light trails, star trails (among my favorites), light painting, etc. Does it do that? In these cases, ISO and lens speed hardly matter, since you'll be taking a long exposure probably at ISO 100 and f/whatever you want.
