This set looks interesting also, especially for those of us who do not have a lot of money to throw around on flash accessories.

Michael - The build quality seems good. The only worry I would have is the plastic snap buttons around the edges with heavy use. So far, I haven't had any issues at all, but I'll let you know. Chas

Chas - thanks for the review and the examples of use. I also went to the Midwest Photo Exchange site and they have more examples. I'd be interested in any future reports on durability. It's hard to see how rugged they might be from the photos.

Do you think the kit will hold up to regular daily use?

Ya, there is some leakage. For my purpose I (mostly) don't mind, but if you really need tight light control, you'd have to use gaffers tape etc. on a few edges.

Thanks for a nice and through review. And thanks to the speedlight guys for having good shipping in Europa.

I've the Prokit 4, and I've used the grids a few times. Works really well and are easy to attach. I used the grid as main light here and for a bit of fill here

I've never really gotten around to using the small softbox. I've a Lumiques SBt III which fits better in my SlingShot 200 AW bag (it fits perfectly on top of the camera and lenses), and which is a lot easier to attach to the flash (as I already have velcro on the flash).

But one day, I'm going to use the big grid on the box - I want to experiment with adding gobos to it to make controlled patterns...
