Looks great - but the cheaper way of upgrading your existing camera for wireless capabilities would seem to be the Eye-Fi wireless SD card - AND with the Explore you get geotagging via Skyhook. (Any chance of a review of this on DPS? I'm hoping to considering get one, but haven't yet heard enough about them...)

Sounds cool nonetheless - uploading photos always takes so much time out of a trip; if they were already uploaded by the time I made it back to the hostel and all I had to do was pick the best few to display on my blog, I would be a happy little photographer.

http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/19/panasonics-dmc-tz50-a-tz5-with-wifi-and-picasa-photo-sharing/

the TZ50 has had wifi for some time now.

i just have a TZ5, i didn't really see the added benefit of being able to directly upload without seeing the images on a bigger than 3" screen.

This looks really sleek and dare I say GREAT. My first two point and shoots were Cybershots. The first was fantastic, but when I dropped it and had to replace it, I was less than happy. I've been suffering through it since I usually use my SLRs anyhow, but I'm always keeping an eye out for a good replacement. I swore no more Sonys, but this is making me change my mind. Oh Sony, you have sucked me back in!
