Why even bother? We are only looking at this device since it has a Polaroid name on it. Fun I'm sure, but pick-up the Instax line from Fuji instead. What a good time that is. No cords, no fuss. Goofy looking camera, gets everyones attention (good or bad). I know it doesn't record digitally, or at least my model doesn't, but good times anyways. All my friends have at least one of my images up on their fridge.

I think that this needs to print faster to live up to the Polaroid name. Mind you, it is the first iteration of a no-ink printer so I'm hoping something faster, smaller and maybe even cheaper will be in the pipeline; that's what I'll be waiting for.

The printer does have a decent print quality. The speed at which the printer works is pretty good, and when used with my mobile phone the over all effect is impressive. But the battery isn't very good as it only last for a very short time. If I was to use it outside away from a charger, then I wouldn't get many photos printed. Even when the printer is switched of the battery depletes very quickly (about a day!).

It's like the old retro effect is coming back. But it doesn't give me the feeling of the old polaroid. Not my kind of thing.

I got one of those for Christmas, with the idea that I could print pictures off of my phone, but my parents didn't know that my phone didn't support bluetooth file sharing. Last week I got the Canon T2i, and am now able to use it. Everyone is always surprised when they tell me they like a picture I took of them then, and 60 seconds later you here a whirrrrrrrrr, and out pops their picture. Its pretty cool for something that fits in my camera bag, although like most everyone else here, I don't see it as a professional printing solution. It sure is quick, fun, and easy though :)

I got my Pogo just before Christmas $29., I love it! Despite it's problems it is a nifty little printer. I also bought one for my niece, who is 12, she has so much fun with it. Taking pictures of her siblings, friends and dogs printing them and making scrapbooks. I recently took some photos of my grandson, printed a few and stuck inside his diaper bag as a suprise for my daughter. They are cute little wallet sized photos.
People should not expect "professional" results from this little gem, I too consider it a toy, it's just for fun. I have a "real" printer for more important things.

(thanks to rev.joe, I'll have to try making my own fridge magnets)

I got this for the "fun factor" now that the price has come down so much. Quality isn't stellar, but I never really expected it to be. I wouldn't have paid $90 for it, but was able to get it for just over $30 from Adorama via Amazon.
We're looking forward to putting together an instant scrapbook for a party that my sister is having for my niece where we can get pictures of everyone there and have them write a comment to her.

we bought our pogo to make quick prints for a little game at my daughter's birthday party, saw right away that the quality was similar to those less than stellar old style polaroids and thought that was COOL, paper from amazon.com can be purchased 80 sheets for $20 and if you buy two it's free shipping - and we use it for our first grader's homeschool *scrapbook* which is her reading/writing/story telling all in one book. We love our POGO! :D

Really helpful post. Thank you Chris.
I have been wondering about one of these for ages.
I am shooting my first wedding in May, and I am wondering about using the PoGo to print out a few of the more fun pics to stick in a small album to present to the bride and groom before they leave. I'll get the guests to sign / write a comment by their photos.

Thanks again,
