Thanks for taking time to answer my query. At last, mystery solved about the flaring and lens leak. It’s just sad that the pictures couldn’t be salvaged. They were from our wedding. I look forward to Photography 102. God bless you!

Thank you very much for replying my question it was a great to hear from photo 101
though i am a newbee in photography and its just my hobby so i am not sure what remote flash is but i will try my best with the other settings told
and it was a great learning experience with photo 101 looking forward for new series

For Q13 I would like some advice on flash sync speed.

came across this video mainly for Pocket Wizard from snap factory few days ago… nice explanation on Sync Speed, and High Speed sync… I think it should answer the question fairly well

A couple of related tips:
1. When photographing the moon, remember that what you’re photographing is lit by direct sunlight (that’s how you can see the moon, after all). That’s why you need the fast exposure – don’t get suckered into thinking “It’s night time, so I want a long exposure…”
2. You can also avoid reflections from display cabinets by pushing your lens right up against the glass of the cabinet, though this can restrict your compositional options.
