I have just bought this camera which must be the bargain of the century for just over £100.00. it is powerful, versatile and feature packed. Amazing quality at this price point.

However be aware that the cut down OEM Arc Soft bundled software only displays images at 24 bit colour when viewed on your PC and as a consequence all images appear 'grainy' and do not compare with the LCD camera display quality. If you are not aware of this you might think that it is bad image output quality from the camera when its impressive native 10 megapixel image (3468x2736 pixels) is displayed at a low 24 bit colour resolution. This is not so. Output is of a very high standard and way beyond the normal 1080P HD standard. However this high resolution needs to display on at least 32bit colour resolution to view properly.Unfortunately this oversight by Panasonic could lead users to believe the camera is faulty or poor quality which is certainly not the case. Use. Photoshop Elements instead which solves the problem. it is infinitely more powerful and just as easy to use once you get the hang of it.
