At only 0.8-inch thick, the Panasonic FS15 is definitely among the more slim consumer digital cameras currently available. The lens ranging from 29 to 145mm equivalent, the Panasonic FS15's 5x Leica lens offers good quality in a very small package. Current maximum SD card capacity is 32GB per card.

Deirdre here is my personal review of this camera:

It is simply awesome. The picture quality is excellent. The zoom facility is terrific. It's ease of use could not be bettered and the built in digital programmes just take away any guess work no matter what the picture is.

I got mine from panasonic lumix digital cameras .co.uk. They have it in blue, black and silver.

Hi Deirdre - at this stage there's no way to post reviews as these cameras were announced in the last few days and are yet to become available. Over the next few weeks there will be more and more 'announcement' posts highlighting new cameras as this time of year is when they are all released. However once we start seeing them hit stores we'll be bringing more reviews of cameras. Until then it'll largely be highlighting cameras that are hitting the market.

I'm curious whether we are going to see reviews of these products or just press releases? I find reviews much more helpful.
