I have two of Michael Freeman’s books: The Photographer’s Eye and Perfect Exposure and both are very, very good. Thanks for reviewing this one, I will have to get it.

I just finished reading Freeman’s The Photographer’s Eye, and found it the single most useful book I have ever read (and I do love photography books!) for incorporating traditional concepts like composition, movement, graphical elements and other things into your photography. I had to return it to the library, but will be buying my own reference copy. And apparently, this one too!

Sounds useful to have a quick read through but from the description above it does sound like it is aimed at beginners more than anything else.

Good to read the review of this book, I was to buy it yesterday and couldn’t find any opinion on this. It would be helpful, I definitely purchase it!
