To whiten teeth, I typically just grab the Dodge Tool, set the Exposure to 30-40%, and go over the teeth with a soft brush. It's quick and easy and there's no need to make a selection of the teeth. Just make sure your brush is small enough and that you avoid the gums as much as possible. I can see where the technique posted here offers a bit more flexibility, and obviously you can change the settings later if needed. Pretty cool technique, thanks for posting!

Of course, you have to reduce the intensity of the effect a bit. Otherwise, you might make your subject look pretty scary.
