Does anyone know of any reason why you couldn't access the same flickr photostream/account from different computers running the same version of Lightroom? Flickr doesn't seem to want to authorize Lightroom a second time. Surely many photographers have more than one computer they want to connect with. ..

thanks, ML

Here is the tutorial of how to publish to Flickr from Lightroom 3.
The cool thing in Lightroom 3 is that you can reply to the comments right from your Lightroom.

I've saved HOURSSSSS and HOURRSSS of time uploading using Jeffrey's uploader I have LR 2.6. / Vista.
Jeffrey is VERY approachable and kind and very helpful. He is one smart dude.

I don't understand ANY of this junk. I am lucky that I have figured out how to take a good pict every once in a while! I've even made a bit of cash from my attempts at creativity and capture. (that is a copywritten expression)

Anyways, I am so glad to be a part of such a nice group of amateurs/intermediates/pros. I really have found a 'home' here and learn something new every day. Even though I may forget it by the next day, I can always come back and read it again!!!

Anyways -

One of the best topics here and SHOULD be reposted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only does he have flickr uploader, he has facebook, smugmug, zenfolio and more and his metadata wrangler is dope too.

Okay later!

I have been using the Lightroom 3 Beta since November and I absolutely love it! One issue though is the Flickr uploader. For some unknown reason, the uploader randomly decides an already uploaded picture has been modified and needs to be uploaded again. There is no way to keep it from being uploaded. If you delete it from "modified to be reuploaded" it then attempts to delete the picture from your photostream! When it does upload, any description you have added is wiped out as well as the file name. Because the uploader insists on appending every picture with ".jpg" I upload and then change the name in the flickr organizr. About a month ago I accidently changed the meta data on ALL of my pictures uploaded with Lightroom - over 900 - and Lightroom wanted to update them all. Besides the time factor, I would lose all my descriptions and names. In order to stop this from happening, I had to "de authorize" the uploader, which automatically deleted all the pictures in the set, and then authorize again and start over. I now make it a habit of doing this monthly but its a big pain. Until there is a way to stop an update without deleting the picture, this will be a huge issue.

@ad it works for any image in Lightroom. You simply export the RAW images as Jpegs for display on Flickr.

It is a one step process rather than a two step which is why I think the plug-in is so handy - it simplifies the process so you get it done far more quickly than you otherwise would do. That, for me, is typically the difference between the job getting done and not.

Give it a try.. I think you will be impressed.
