I’m happy to announce that I just bought a Nikon D3100! It’s still in the box. Just came back from the store and getting ready to unpack it. I’m so excited!

My Nikon D7000 is now 7 months old. It is my first DSLR. I love it. however I am always anxious to see what Nikon comes out with next.

I bought my first DSLR in 2000. It was an Olympus C2500L. It was “affordable” and the shop took my Nikon N2000 and full kit on trade-in. I have since upgraded as follows (all Nikons): D70s; D300; D700 with the D700 bought in December 2010.

ive had my canon 550D for nearly a year…
its my first camera and well…
i think im not going to uprgade for a long long time…

its like ive just got the hang of it and learned a lot about it…
but i need a bit more hands on practice anyways…

id rather invest in an off cam flash… and a few good lenses first…
and by the look of things… it looks like that is going to take some time too
lol

I purchased a Canon 7D last year when Canon had their rebates during the summer. I also got a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-4.6 IS USM & a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM. I got a great deal by buying the body with the lenses at a super price with Canon rebates.

I always wait for a rebate period before buying.

Hey – I’ve had my Pentax K20D for a about 18 months. I love it and don’t have any interest in upgrading anytime soon.

Though I can say I am interested in upgrading my P&S.

Just purchased a Canon SX210iS PowerShot. Massive optical zoom 14x, great photos but no RAW option which is disappointing. Nice compact camera and is a great substitute for my Canon EOS 7D which is a monster in size comparison.

I own a Nikon D300, I love this camera and need to get the most out of it before moving on to my next Nikon.I’ve had this one for over a year, and buy new lenes as I feel necessary. Keep on shooting.
