I shoot in an average of 100 images a week, but there are times when i attended some special occasions I shoot in an average of 1000 images.

WOW! I shoot 3000 images a week, its more than an obsession,
its a work out program to keep my creativity and tech skills in shape.

The funny part is, I am exhausted after shooting at that rate, just as you
should be after an effective workout.

I am constantly looking for opportunity to shoot!! I go for nature walk on weekends and shoot about 200pictures(mainly birds). Out of 200 shots only about 10 shots are good enough to be retained. Want to get into architectural and product photography but don’t know how to about it.

On average i shoot anywhere between 400-900 images a day, but i am also doing freelance news work for the AP, and unlike you average point and shoot shutterbug most of my photos are professional, i just put a sony camera in its grave and i had it for 9 months with actuations around 125,000

When I am doing modeling photography I shoot anywhere between 400-600 shots per shoot, most never see the light of day but well

On a recent mill explosion i covered i shot somewhere between 1200-1600 before the fire was completely out, and the demo which happened over 2 days later was around 1000 for two days work!

I think i get so many pics because i get paid so much for them (AP pays on average 300-500 a picture!)

In the past year I average pretty close to 200 shots a week. My record for a single day is around 630 shots.
I hope I can keep close to 200/wk. or I haven’t picked up the camera enough that week.

I average about 500-600 a week. Maybe 20-30 keepers a YEAR. “Keepers” meaning stuff I would be really proud to print in a book, etc. Other stuff I have started deleting if it’s not perfect in my eyes.

Generally on a full days shoot I would take between 400 – 800 shots. I do auto bracket quite a bit so some of those would be duplicates. The most I have ever shot is probably 1500 in a day whilst travelling..

Hmmm… Well, during the holidays/event season, probably a couple thousand a week. When I go out for a day of shooting for the purpose of it, probably 600-700?

It really ranges, but since May 2001 when I got my very first digital camera, I’ve probably taken about 200,000 total. Maybe more.
