Oh, and for my kiddos I print at home on either Epson CX7800 or Canon S9000. Instead of printing individual 4x6's for the kids I print and assemble them in the Epson Storyteller books.

I have used Shutterfly for some 4 x 6, but I was not real pleased. I do digital scrap-4-hire, though, and Shutterfly is absolutely the best quality/value on custom created photo books. Recently had about 500 Disney PhotoPass photos printed by ArtsCow. Very pleased with them! For customer prints and products I use MPIX (very impressed with large print sizes and mounting) and Nations Photo Lab.

Yep, I print everything at home on an Epson Stylus Photo R1800. Excellent printer ,excellent results. I use Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl Paper 8 1/2 x 11 290 gsm. I enjoy doing it that way. It's a treat seeing your work done in that format. I've tried other media, but it just didn't cut it. It's great to have photos in that size and quality, and other people appreciate it too. I truly enjoy photography and all that goes with it.

Whoops - I forgot. I also print these at a lab in a shop - hopefully when they're on special for 12c per print or less. But I have never printed out at home - far too expensive.

Yes, roughly one in every 10... but of course this varies. Sometimes I have a session where I will print all photos, other times I'll print one in 30. Because I have a hard time sorting out what to print and what not to print I usually only take one or two photos of anything I think would be excellent so it's easy to select what to print.

Yes, I print 90% of them at a camera lab, as their coloration and tones are much more dramatic, and clarity is much sharper. It is a bit more expensive, but worth the price, as these are family memories and records!

I print some throught my local photographic store but mostly I print them myself (after much experimentation) on my cheapo HP printer using matte HP high quality paper. I've been asked 3 times who does my prinytting and folks are always surprised to find that I printed them myself. Thank you goes out to HP:)
