Do you have a Photoblog? [POLL]
Time for another poll (on a topic we’ve not run for a few years) – Do you have a photoblog?
We’re not talking here about a Flickr account or some other photosharing site – do you have your own blog where you share photos?
If you do – we’d love to see a link to it in comments below – feel free to share them and tell us in a few words what type of photography we’ll see there.

Looking forward to seeing the other photo blogs on here as well. http://www.differentframeofmind.com

I have a tumblr photoblog- bigskyphotography.tumblr.com
My website was kinda like a photoblog, but a sold a few prints off of it and then the NCAA shut me down. Being a college athlete I’m not allowed to have my name connected to a business. So I have to build a new one under a fake name, which apparently is ok by them.

Nothing is “photoshopped”, just simply minimal editing (saturation, contrast, brightness). I’m not a professional, just someone who LOVES photography. I love reading the comments.
January 26th, 2012 at 2:12 pm
I completely forgot to mention that Phogropathy is mainly landscapes and HDR – but I through different things in from time to time – I’m still on the exponential learning curve period of photography – and am still trying to “find myself” so to speak as a photographer.

Hi, I maintain a “regular” blog at HongkieTown.com and a photoblog at SpikesPhotos.com. My blog features my photos as well as some thoughts on various cameras and gear. My photos fall into several areas. There are photos taken in my adopted hometown of Hong Kong as well as photos taken during my travels. There are photos of bands and musicians – “name” groups that come to Hong Kong (when I can get a media pass) as well as some local bands. And since I co-own a photo studio, there are a few shots from various model/fashion shoots. Please take a look – any and all comments/criticism are welcomed!

I’ve blogging for a few years now and I find that having a blog probably has done to most to improve my photographic creativity. I’ve slowly built up a reader base to almost 1200 subscribers, who seem to be interested in my writings as well as my photos.
Sometimes I find it a bit hard to come up with new material, as I like to have several images that support the article. And then from nowhere inspiration seems to turn. Blogging gets my mind active and searching for new material and ideas.
But I also enjoy viewing photos of other bloggers as there is always something exciting with what people are doing.

I consider myself a beginner in the field of photography.
January 26th, 2012 at 2:31 pm
My photoblog was originally where I put the resulting photos from my project365, but since then, has mainly been the source of my camera-phone photos, or linking to albums on Picasa/Google+
Used to be on Squarespace, but when I finished my project365, I couldn’t justify the cost, so I went with Tumblr, just because it was easy to setup.
Now it’s connected to my picplz account, and I was using ifttt to bring across posts to Google+.
In case you were wondering…

I created a blog at fossphotographer.blogspot.com. I intend that this be a place where I put up tutorials and discussions on free and open source software (FOSS) useful for image manipulation, as well as some of my pictures.
However, I feel that a photo sharing site like flickr is much better for uploading and sharing photographs. Of course, if I have too many images to share, and if I had a high level of traffic (not even in my dreams is this possible) a self-hosted photoblog would make sense. Right now, I’m on flickr and PicasaWeb.

A new image every Tuesday since 2005.
Well, there was that one Tuesday in 2009 that I missed, but she was a pretty good excuse. =)
This’ll be a great list to peruse.
Thanks for being there, DPS. I’m sorry our relationship’s been so one-sided, what with my constantly siphoning knowledge from your articles and all. I’ll try to give back this year.

Hey, thanks for asking! Camera 47 is at the intersection of “full time in a cube” and “part time photography”. It’s mostly a sketchpad – and just shows a bit of my pencil sharpening process.

I have one, but it has not been used in a long time – the few friends I have following me aren’t really into photography (or at least, not mine) and were either incapable of critiquing my works (since none of them take anything but happy snaps from time to time) or unwilling to do so – and I don’t get the chance to get out and take many photos worth posting anyway. The few I think are worth posting, well, let’s just say I don’t see the point if no-one reads the blog anyway…
(and no, I will not be posting the link here.)

I’ve had a photoblog for the past four years. I find it very useful not only as a communication tool but also as a way of assessing the quality of my work. You see things differently – and more honestly – when they’re in the public domain. I also post my entries to Facebook, Linked and Twitter. Here’s the link: http://profoundlysuperficial.blogspot.com/ PS I work commercially for various travel organisations and I’m also an artist.

Most of my photography is about contrast and comparing elements in photos I take. I look not just for contrast in subject bu also in colors and other stuff. Also as a Canon part-time employee I’m able to get my hands on some cool lenses, I review them and post a small review with photos on my site. You can check it out over at my blog.
Feel free to comment on my images, posts or just share your ideas and critique. I’m opened to any creative critique you can give me. Also if you need any help or just another opinion, don’t be afraid to ask.

I have a photoblog of sorts at tchilders.posterous.com. It is a hodgepodge of photos taken nearly every day revolving around nature, black&white, food, and other things of interest. Some are taken with my iPhone while most are taken with a Canon Rebel XT or Canon 40D. Comments are always welcome.
January 26th, 2012 at 10:04 pm
I also have a blog where I post more photos than in my portfolio categories which contain only selected works, mostly because it’s more casual, visitors can leave their comments and sometimes I post behind the scenes info too.
January 26th, 2012 at 10:05 pm
Yes, like everyone else on this list, I do have a photo blog. I am a freelance writer and photographer so my blog combines both passions. My work is telling stories – verbally and visually – and that is what you will find at

Hello from Belgium!
On my blog you will find a good deal of streetphotography and eventphotography. My blog in in Dutch language, so that might be a bit difficult, but I hope (most of) my photo’s will speak for themselves. Have a look! Thank you for the opportunity to promote my blog.
January 26th, 2012 at 10:18 pm
I converted my website to WordPress largely so I could post more photos. While not entirely a photoblog, the content is more and more skewed to photography.
You’ll find some iPhoneography (tests I’ve been doing of the Hipstamatic D-Series cameras), my 365 project, some photowalks, it’s all fairly random, I suppose, though there aren’t very many shots of people, and much of the stuff is fairly abstract.
You can check out my photography in all its forms at http://www.jamescockroft.com/photography/ and there are some filters you can apply to pick out what (if anything) you’d like to look at.
January 26th, 2012 at 10:20 pm
Here’s my blog. I don’t update it as much as I would like and I’m still a little behind on it. Mostly landscapes and everywhere I’ve been. I’m open to critiques and compliments which was the main reason why I started the blog. http://kuehnphotography.blogspot.com/

I used to post pictures almost daily on google+. At first i was thrilled by the feedback, but i stopped using it a month ago. Too many followers / followed people, content gets lost in an ocean of post, it feels useless…
So i started a 365 project and personal blog : http://www.orderbyday.com/
Feels quite lonely compared to G+
January 26th, 2012 at 10:40 pm
Blogging is a great way to get feedback on your work and to see photo ideas from others. Before blogs you relied on editorial staff to decide what was published. The internet has opened the world up to photographers so their work can be viewed by the world.

My photo blog was intended as a way to get over not like having my photo taken so you’ll find photos of myself. I take a photo everyday (except for the stretch of time after my iMac was stolen and thrown into the river by a crazy ex boyfriend) I try to say something about something, sometimes short sometimes not-so-short. Each week I take photos of anything which I think might be of interest or admiration to the eye. I am no professional, however, I would love to improve my skills.
I’ve only three posts so far: flowers, kitchen objects, and “fireworks”. There is no real ‘type’ of photography, just things I come across.
January 26th, 2012 at 11:05 pm
I do a lot of travel for my job (which is not photography), and over the years I have captured some beautiful images. I just started a blog to share my favorites, and the stories that go along with them.

I recently started a photo blog at: http://www.raycarrollpix.blogspot.com as a result of committing to taking a picture each day. I could not refer to it as a 365 challenge due to 2012 having 366 days. Thus, it is my project 2012. I do add pictures taken at other times.
My favorite picture is on January 25 (I did not take the picture on that date), which I entitle “Jesus at Amicalola Falls.”

Yes, for almost a year, now, and it’s served as to really inspire me to keep pushing myself further, photographically, as well as to tap into my writing instincts as well. I never knew how motivated I’d become once I opened up myself to a larger audience! I still shoot just for myself, but there is an element of presenting your work to others that keeps you on the edge–which is a good thing! (www.1107photography.wordpress.com)

Hello all! I have been following the newsletter for many months and regularly *try* to put the advice and tips into action (easier said than done I am sure you all will agree!). I am very excited about this assignment, and look forward to seeing the wonderful sites and pictures out there.
I am travelling around Asia with my boyfriend Joe for 10 months, and on the site you will find photos and thoughts on the pandas of Chengdu, the Great Wall of China, Geisha in Kyoto and sushi in Tokyo amongst others.
Started as a way to keep in touch with family and friends, it’s doubling up as a kind of diary to remember where we’ve been! Hope you guys like it!

I started a photoblog not long after I got my first decent camera at the end of September. It is presentable, but I’m still making occasional improvements to it.
http://www.mthphotography.co.cc
It contains a fair mixture of photos – I do seem to avoid taking photos of people though.
Feedback very welcome.
January 27th, 2012 at 1:03 am
Named so because I’m not as limber as I used to be, but still love to go out and play with nature and my cameras. My demonstration you don’t have to young and fit to continue to capture great images (remember, in the final analysis the only person that has to really like them is me)

Sadly, no, as I am still in the process of learning photography. But I fully plan on starting one once I have more experience.
Than again, do you think blogging is a valuable experience, even for beginners?
January 27th, 2012 at 1:25 am
Yes — it didn’t start that way, though. My blog can be found at http://sanddollarinsanity.wordpress.com/. It basically documents my progress in learning/enjoying photography. A family photo blog with random photos thrown in for fun!

I’ve thought about starting one, but never really can get in the habit of updating regularly. I know you’ve kinda ground-ruled out Flickr, but my descriptions of my photographs do kind of form a blog.

I do, but it isn’t about digital photography. It’s about my transition from digital to film, and everything I’m learning along the way.
I learned photography on a digital camera, and recently realized how pivotal that is. Being in my 20′s, I’m probably one of the first generations of photographers who didn’t have to deal with film, developer, touch-up paints, or the darkroom. So I guess I’m interested in the vast amounts of knowledge from before digital which is still incredibly relative.
The blog is only a few weeks old, but it will cover everything from different films, developers, cameras, processing and how-to’s. It’s surprising how intricate and nuanced the world of film is, and how in just 10 short years it seems that everyone has forgotten about it.

I’m an amateur photographer enjoying getting out there and trying to take photos people will enjoy looking at.
http://antmusic.wordpress.com is a collection of photos taken during my daily commute into and out of London. I try to capture the unusual, and the beauty that people are often too busy to notice.
http://ovalwindow.wordpress.com is for indulging my love of rugby. I follow Harlequins in Twickenham UK and look to capture the people involved, as well as some of the sport itself.
Take a look and let me know if you like what you see!

Wow … there are a lot of photoblogs listed here. I will join the party
I have been a photography enthusiast since childhood, but I really started out with a 5 year tour in the United States Navy as a Photographer’s Mate. There are certainly a good sampling of straight photographs, but most recently, I have been using Photoshop to enhance my images into a surreal expression. Thanks for reading, and happy imaging

I began this photoblog as an assignment for a class my last semester of college. So there will be a wide variety of things. What I love to shoot most, however, are “Old West” things and portraits. Thanks!

http://www.photomiconablog.com – here is my blog.
I’m wedding photographer mainly. But also I love and try to cover portraiture, traveling, engagements, kids.

Happy to share!

My site has been setup for a few months, but in a state of constant flux as I play with the look/feel and tech issues. Right now I am concentrating on adding and switching out content on a regular monthly schedule to build up the site. I am not taking the usual blogging approach, but experimenting with third-party commenting and forum systems. I haven’t spent much time in promotion, but hope to in the spring. I am starting to look at other sites to see how blogs have been integrated and will be paying attention to whatever develops from this discussion.
January 27th, 2012 at 2:51 am
I’m still in a very early stage in my photography and only using ab entry level dslr so I know I’ve a long way to go before I should be claiming to be any sort of pro. Would love an experienced photographer to have a nosey at my blog and give me some feedback whether I’m totally doing it wrong or if I’m heading in the right direction towards becoming a pro. Thanks

Hi everyone. Funny enough, if I had discovered this poll a week ago, I would have answered “no”. However, upon refurbishing my official website over the past month to add e-commerce, research has indicated that it will be worthwhile to have a blog. As a result, I created mine about four days ago!
My understanding of a blog was not initially clear, so I am still learning. I always thought the official website with its photographs should do the talking, but a blog does give one the chance to be creative. (I thought most were used to go on and on about oneself, which I have no interest in doing).
Please find it at http:/blog.tia-international-photography.com. I think I have some good ideas to keep it fresh and interesting. Thank you, and I welcome any of your thoughts and wisdom to this fledgling blogger in infancy.

My blog was a 365 blog in 2010 and has morphed into a 52 week blog for 2012. I modified my criteria to allow for any photographic work I did during the week, including any post processing on older photos (I’m post processing a bunch of photos from a recent trip to Africa, so I let these count). So, the photos may be old or new, but required work during the week. Various photography, much inspired by travel. Expect to see African wildlife photography appear regularly for a few months. Learning the intricacies of blogging at this point but find it a great outlet to share photos, maintain image quality, and provide some text for context of the photos (I enjoy writing as well). Wide variety of subjects, including travel, landscapes (including many from Central Illinois where I live), and my golden retrievers.

I try to explain the why and how of capturing each shot.

Photoblog:
http://favoritus-photoblog.blogspot.com/
Two of his great passions in life are travel and photography.
Abreu Pires believes that travel broadens one’s view of the world. As he studied economics and sociology, experiencing other cultures, meeting people from other communities and other countries and seeing the beauty, and sometimes ugliness, of the world has helped him understand that all of our lives are at once interconnected and individual.
It has made him better appreciate his portuguese culture as well as that of the people he had met and the lands he had saw and had become a much more tolerant person as a result. Through his photography he seeks to document his own personal experiences, to capture scenes and events as he see them, specially the detail and to share with others the beauty and diversity of the world he saw. As the images of other photographers have inspired him to explore the world, he hopes his work will inspire others to do the same.
He views the art of photography as a subtractive process, a distilling of reality into a personal vision: the personalized detail. He have been involved in photography since his youth. He does have a particular love for street photography and urban life.

My blog is a 365 project (seems like everyone has one haha). Started it to help me challenge myself as I am a 20 year old amateur photographer. A lot of the photos are observational photos i.e my environment. Stop by, leave a comment and let me know how I can improve!

I bike and I blog and I love to take pictures!
It started when my daughter and I biked across America in 2010.
I biked from Oregon to New Hampshire with my Canon G12 around my neck.
That blog was Flight for the Land.
I was proud of my writing, but I found out most people enjoyed my photos.
So back home in Indiana I bought a better camera, took photo lessons and started writing The Flight Continues.
See how you like it….
January 27th, 2012 at 3:18 am
On my website you’ll find mostly portraits but also sports and a couple other categories.
I just started a photo blog <a href="nathanmacfarlane.blogspot.com" title "here" that will feature how to's. Don't forget to start following the page! I'd really appreciate it!

I’ve had a daily photoblog of the city where I live, St. Louis, for five years. It includes stories and commentary about life in this part of the world. My wife and I travel some and when we do I post about the places we visit..

I’m not very proud of my blog. I’m complacent about keeping it updated. In fact, it’s waaay out-dated now. Initially, I figured if I had one that I’d use it (I hate using facebook, especially from my phone, so not likely I’ll post image there). I tried to set it up so that I could quickly post to my blog using the WordPress mobile app. It’s easy, but at the same time it’s not so easy, if you know what I mean, trying to carefully punch in a bit of text and and choose options by poking a tiny screen with my finger and then publish with an attached image, and trying to to all this in a moment when I’m probably in a rush. It’s painstakingly slow. Anyway… see http://www.pepperlfy.com.

I’ve been blogging since September of 2007 – and blogging every day since January 1st, 2008. Up until January 1st of THIS year, I’ve had a Seinfeld Blog – a “Blog About Nothing”. However, as of January 1st, I am publishing a photo a day – a Photo365, if you will. (I’m going to take one day off during the year – to make it a Photo365 – I failed to remember that this is Leap Year when I decided to start this) During this year, the emphasis will be more on the Photography and a bit less on blogging about nothing.
January 27th, 2012 at 3:38 am
3rd time lucky today at this comment thing. I’m new to all this blogging stuff having only started mine at the beginning of this year. However it’s going really well so far. I’m doing a 366 and other stuff that crops up like the challenges and assignments on DPS.

January 27th, 2012 at 3:39 am
I currently have a photoblog. I say currently, because as I evolve as a photographer so doesn’t my blog. I have had several blogs that I have started and then moved to a new platform, because my needs change. My blog currently is at http://thepixelhoarder.wordpress.com/. In the next few weeks I will be moving it back to a regular WordPress site at http://ThePixelHoarder.com once I get everything set up and migrated over to the new platform. This should be my final move.

Yes, My blog is about my Food photography ventures. This is a relatively new endeavor for me having been a Director of photography on commercials for 20 + years and a General photographer for 25 years.
The opportunity arose to shoot some table top still photography last year (2011) and I jumped all over it.
I had a bunch of experience doing it via HD video but had never tried stills.

My blog isn’t really a true photoblog in the sense that I use photographs more as illustrations for my blog posts rather than as an end in themselves. My articles are scattershot – ruminations, travel reports, local interest. But I do regard my photography as integral to what I do.

Here’s mine. I used to post a wider range of photos a while ago, including film work, macro, nature, architecture.. Now I’m trying to learn and focus on fashion photography. I’m currently doing test shoots for model agencies in Milan, Italy. For the near future, I plan to shoot some editorials, currently working out all the styling, make-up and hair details, I’m so excited. I didn’t take any course in photography, and until now, I’ve shot only with a Nikond D40- only thing I could afford. I am trying to learn as much as I can by myself, hopefully I’ll manage to work things out:).
This website is certainly helping me learn a lot, and it’s very inspiring to see all these people sharing the same passion. Congratulations to you all, and I’m very very happy to get a glimpse of your way of seeing things. It’s wonderful.
Good luck and good light to all!
Cheers,
Patri

I started my blog 4 months ago, in order to share my work and my quests in photography. Although I cannot post too often, I have come up with 16 posts till now. That’s one per week… Not too bad I guess…!
The only problem though (and that’s for the non-greek), is this exactly… It’s written in greek… Apart for any comments about the interface and the structure of it (every comment is more than welcome), the main problem is the language… In these four months I thought of translating the content and continue in english with the existing one or starting a new one in english and continue with both of them…
But on the other hand, isn’t just about the photos? Aren’t they enough for the viewer or one has to also understand what is written to fully comprehend the meaning of the image?
Since DPS gives me that opportunity, here it is, look at it and feel more than welcome to answer to the above question, along with any comments about my work, my blog or anything else anyone wants to say!

Enjoy! Thanks!

I’m a photographer and digital painter. I got started painting with traditional oils and pastel, pet portraits mostly but before long my clients wanted themselves or their children included. I painted first from life and then discovered that my human subjects knew exactly what they wanted, usually captured more or less in one of their own very poor quality photographs that they wished had been good enough to display. That’s where I found my niche! Now people send one to a dozen photographs and I create a painting that captures their idealized memories.
I paint with saturated colors because I print on Fabriano Artistico 300# cold-pressed paper, my own ICC profiles, and a Canon Pixma 9000Pro printer with pigmented inks. I like the texture and richness of color this combination creates. My website showcases my work in nine galleries accessed through Galleries on the navigation bar; images are mixed both photos and paintings. I’m still working on desaturating in the conversion to sRGB so the images appear onscreen more like they actually do when printed. Most of my clients come to me through word of mouth or the fine art gallery that shows my photographic work. I love what I do!

My range of photographic art is from macro to landscape & everything in between. Would like to try portraiture. Please take a peek. I would live to get some feedback. Cat

This is my blog http://michiganexposures.blogspot.com/
It is mostly about my wanderings around Michigan but there are pictures from other places. I try to throw a little history in with my pictures and occasionally some snarky comments.
Enjoy.

http://www.instapinch.com started out as a place to share the photos I took while a naval flight officer flying in F-14 Tomcat fighters. Over the years with my retirement from the Navy it has sort of morphed into a straight photo blog and I am now on day 26 of a 2012 Pic o’the Day project where I post a photo I take that day. It forces me to get that big Canon out and try to be creative.

I post photos from our travels at http://crowcanyonjournal.wordpress.com. Last year we went to New Zealand and Australia. The year before we visited Spain and Portugal and the year before that Italy and Ireland. This year we are going to cruise down the Rhine River. I also write about our travels and my family history.

My name is Enda Madden and I am a professional freelance photographer based in London, UK.
I specialise in live music photography, especially those in the Hard Rock & Heavy Metal genre. I hold the post of official photographer for Bloodstock Open-Air festival in the UK and I regularly shoot for national and International magazines such Metalized (Norway, Sweden & Denmark), Terrorizer (UK & Europe) and Metal Maniacs (USA & Japan) to name a few. I am head of UK Crew for Metalized magazine.
My work has been published around the world and exhibited on numerous occasions by The Royal Photographic Society in the UK. Although rock music is my preference, I will happily shoot pretty much all genres.
I hope you enjoy my work.

Hi; I’m 11 days away from finishing a 365 I started last February, and then I’ll segue into a 52 Project going forward. I focus on my home city of San Diego with lots of neighborhood, landscape, travel, and some HDR thrown in. I do write about each day’s photo/photos (usually multiple) which were taken with my 7D. It’s been the most challenging but most rewarding creative endeavor I’ve ever undertaken!

Please stop by and say hello.

I’m a student, and I don’t have my driver’s license yet, so mostly I take pictures around the house, my backyard, my neighborhood, and places I travel with my family. It gets repetitive to look at the same things for inspiration again and again, but it’s amazing what a new perspective can do.
January 27th, 2012 at 8:28 am
I’m still defining my style and vision but I think the pictures are decidedly documentary, with shots of Zuccotti Park’s OWS and New Orleans during Mardi Gras 2011. I also have some portrait work! I’d love some feedback!

I kept a photography blog when I did the Open University course T189: Digital photography: creating and sharing better images in the summer of 2007. It wasa first time presentation and we encountered quite a few glitches along the way but it was a ground breaking course for the OU. The course will be presented for the last time in October 2013. My blog is called ‘Photography Student’ and it can be found here A lot of it is about distance learning rather than just photography though …

I cannot truly call this a blog but I utilize the site to share my images with all my friends, family and anyone who has an interest in photography.
Photography is a subtle expression of emotions, thoughts and ideas, captured for posterity. As a hobby, it enables me to create visual delights, which I hope people would want to look at over and over again.
I am neither a professional nor an expert and I have not attended photography school. As far back as I can remember I have enjoyed clicking, cataloging and sharing pictures
I am open to all kinds of photography, with landscapes being my favorite.
Thank you for your visit and inputs.
Warm Regards
Harry

Yes, I’ve actually just started one a few days ago. For some reason a modus operandi emerged for me to use theme subjects and the post illustrating pictures that go with the topic. My pictures are all over the place from travel and city shots to botany and wildlife, abstracts and patterns. I’m mostly experimenting around trying to lose the crutches of the automatic mode. I try to post every other day but sometimes school gets in the way. I welcome all critique as long as it’s constructive as I strive to improve http://photosmash.wordpress.com

Hi all: I just started a photoblog a few months ago as a companion to an also new photography website (matthewiphoto.com). The blog is here: http://www.matthewiphotoblog.com/
Although I’m still largely an enthusiast generalist, I’m starting to develop a focus and sell (prints, license) more frequently. I love nature and landscape photography, with a special emphasis on urban scenes (but not much street photography). I’ve also done some concert photojournalism for blogs. Any comments appreciated!
I look forward to checking out some of the blogs here. Cheers!

My blog is http://hdr4real.com and as the name implies, I do mostly realistic High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography. But, from time to time, I will post some pseudo-HDR, and straight, single shot photography articles. I’ve started doing a Monday post on techniques that cover HDR and photography in general.
I’m also occasionally posting photos and stories from my 40 year archive of work. Way to much to ever exhaust. Dang!

Hi I’m a freelance photographer based in Singapore. Here are my 2 photo blogs:
Night Photography Blog:
http://niteprojekts.blogspot.com
I started out in night photography on B&W film and naturally I was drawn into nocturne photography (a.k.a. light-painting). In my night phghy blog I shared my night images and the equipments/tools I used.
Generic Photography Blog:
http://martinliewphotography.blogspot.com
As I didn’t want to mix my night phghy with other favorite phghy genres, I created this blog site to talk more about phghy news, my thoughts on creative process in phghy as well as sharing my phghy work on strobist lighting techniques, street phghy, on-assignments experience, etc etc.

I’ve been photo blogging for a few years now, mainly as a kind of diary so I can look back over the past year and remind me of what went on! Unfortunately like my photography in general, my quality of photo’s posted are… erm… not brilliant!
Still, I’d recommend it to anyone. It encourages you to get your camera out everyday and I find I’m always on the lookout for something different to photo..
Thanks for looking.

I have started 365 project last year to improve my photography, or to put it in other words i needed a reason to take my camera of the bag and OMG it helped me so much! i know my camera much better, i started seeing the world differently as i needed to take a photo a day. There were hard days and easy days, project is still there and i will definitely do it again, but with different photo project as 52 walks etc.. it is the best way to get used to your camera and learn photography!

I’ve dabbled in photography for years. When I retired, my wife and I started to travel and this triggered a renewed interest which has developed to become a passion.
I still have a huge amount to learn and although wildlife and travel photography are dominant interests, I do still like to try my hand at anything.
I use my blog to document and share some of my photography over the years. Initially, I am covering some of our more recent travel experiences, but I also include other ‘bits and pieces’ of my photography.

I still have to tidy it up but the base is there already. Landscape, nature and urban photography is what I have but I would love to make a living from this hobby and travel to take pictures all over the world. Not only about the world itself but to also tell the stories of the people I meet. How they live and their different way to see the world around them.
Feel free to leave your comment.

Hi!!
I started a blog on the 1st of December. I have been taking group portraits for a while and I think it is time to show and get some feedback. I decided to post One Group Portrait a day for 365 days. The idea is to take one portrait a day for a year. This is not always possible but at least I will post one a day. I want to be a MASTER! at taking Group Portraits and also telling a little bit about this people´s stories.

Mine is: http://abramsonscorner.wordpress.com/. It started when I decided to try and really “see” what is around me in my town, life, etc. I don’t get to travel much and take “exciting” pictures, but I’m trying to expand my vision as to the beauty and opportunity in everyday life.
Lately, it seems to be overtaken by dogs and eagles. I share my learning experiences and mistakes in photography since I still consider myself somewhat new. I also post links to interesting blogs, articles and photos I come across.

In my photoblog, http://storiesfromthehighcountry.blogspot.com/ , I mix photography and simple living and always try to blend both into each post. I’ve recently left a comfortable city job to follow my passion in the mountains, and the blog is my story.
February 10th, 2012 at 4:45 am
A variety of what I am shooting. Have not submittted any entries for almost 3 years, but plan to re-do and start again.
February 10th, 2012 at 6:40 am
Hi yes – I started a photo-blog as a weekly project. Each Friday I venture out looking for photo’s on the latest topic. I have covered “Old Buildings” in my city, I did a Timelapse sequence in the Cape Town harbour of the flooding of a dry dock to float a ship after it’s refit, and also some articles on “Tower Clocks”. I love photography and the blog adds a bit of spice each week as I do not know what I am going to see or learn about next…
February 10th, 2012 at 6:41 am
I take photographs of whatever comes into focus of my camera. That means people, nature, houses, erm… well, pretty much whatever comes and presents a challenge! I tend to photograph nature the most, more for the fact that it is the most readily available here in Finland, but it doesn’t hurt that most everything in nature is beautiful.
February 10th, 2012 at 7:33 am
As my blog states, ‘My life through a Nikon” pretty much sums it up. Travel, items of interest, people and pets…everything’s fair game as I go through the motions of day-to-day life.
February 10th, 2012 at 8:33 am
My blog is a ‘slice of life’ from my neck of the woods. Often a lot of landscape shots, mixed in with surfing, candids and things that make me laugh.
I also review local church suppers, fireman’s breakfasts and other local community functions. I am getting braver taking pictures of people at those functions.
February 10th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
I took on this challenge about 7 months ago now. As an amateur photographer I wanted to try and take my skills to a new level. My goal…minimum of one photo per week that I would frame. Here it is. 52framed.blogspot.com
February 10th, 2012 at 4:47 pm
Amateur photography but good frames (hopefully). Infact, I would appreciate some tips and suggestions.
February 10th, 2012 at 5:04 pm
I started my photoblog last November in an effort to keep my sanity ü
Here it is: jewelpastorphotography.com
February 11th, 2012 at 12:36 am
I have been trying to get it up however am having trouble with the uploading of TTG – lightroom pages to the host. At any rate, My objective is to share and hopefully those viewing will take time after looking to see what it is in the image that is importance to them. It, the image, is not so much about me as it is the image to the viewer.
Thanks

My photo blog is my diary. I am an obsessive photographer and I never leave home without my camera strapped around my neck, so I post a photo every day of something / someone I have seen. It was hard at first to keep it up every day, but last week my camera broke and I couldn’t take any photos for about four days. My heart broke very time I walked outside and the sun was shining! I have now just bought a Canon EOS 600D which has made my life complete.
