This isn’t a softbox, it’s a scrim. It does soften the light on the subject but it won’t control spill light from the flash (which is what softboxes are for).

Brilliant photo, though you do say that you had a lot of snow around, however the chopping boards are a brilliant stand-in.

I take it that you did a last “push with the finger” on the lime to get the motion in the water and the lime at the angle.

Absolutely brilliant.
