Digital Photography School Switches to ‘Classic’ Mode
Since starting Digital Photography School back in April of 2006 we’ve seen over 400 tips and tutorials added to this blog. However many of these articles sit largely unnoticed and unread in our archives despite having good information in them.
So over the next week – while I take a week’s break away with my family (at the beach) – I’m going to switch DPS into ‘Classic Posts’ mode and highlight some of the gems from the archives. Over the coming 5 week you’ll get a taste of five of our more popular posts from the last 18 months of Digital Photography School. All were posted in the first 6 or so months of this blog and all practical ‘how to’ type information. Some are aimed at the beginner while others are more focused upon the intermediate photographe.
I hope you enjoy the week of rediscovering some of the hidden treasures (at least we think there are some gems there) from our archives. Don’t forget to drop by the forums also which will continue to be full of fun and learning over the next week.
PS: As I’m away – next week there will be no weekly newsletter but our other daily subscription services will continue to operate as normal.

Klaidas – piss off will ya. Stop complaining. The articles on this site are timeless in quality. If you think you know them all you sound like you’re too good for us – why not go hang out with other elitist snobs somewhere else.

Let’s not be fighting
Klaidas, i’m sure you said that as a joke – right?… Hell, I know for a fact that my photos could benefit from most tutorials.. i’m sure we all can find something in any post if we try hard enough?
Darren – enjoy your break!

I am fairly new to this site so reading old stuff will be helpful to me. As I always say when I go to any workshop where I may know most of the stuff being taught is if I can pick up one new idea it is worth it or even just to reinstate an old idea I may have forgotten.
