The link for Karen Jordan's blog above took me to some quite unexpected & explicit photos! Might want to look into that! Not my idea of 365 photos! Lol!

I think I'm up to the challenge, let's see what happens. I have a blog with a photography section http://ndjmom.wordpress.com/ I'll be interested to see who cares, other than me by the end of this experiment.

I have to second what Rachel said, I read this article in March and got started on my project. I was posting my photos for my friends to se on FB but then I joined up with http://365project.org/ which is simply a wonderful community of fellow photographers and has been great for meeting people, looking at thier photos every day, and recieveing feedback. This adds so much more to the 365 project for me!

I also found the idea for a 365 project here on DPS in Dec. Before I committed I did a 'dry run' for a couple of weeks - found it very rewarding and a great motivator to get the camera out every day. I'm still working on the ABC of photography (Always Bring Camera) but getting better. It helps to enlist the support of family - my wife tolerates absences during dinner (when the light is so good) a little better now - I didn't say she understands :)

Encouragement from the wider community and fellow 365-ers is also very useful. Feel free to view and comment/provide constructive feedback on my site.

Hi,

Everyone considering or currently doing a 365 project for the year should definately check out 365Project...

http://365project.org/

This is a great niche website specifically aimed at documenting your life through photography and is an ideal way to improve your photography skills.

The site is super easy to use, displays your life photos in an awesome calendar and has one of the friendliest and supportive communities of photographers around. the quality of photographs uploaded on a daily basis are outstanding and you can always find inspiration for your own project, In addition, you can link your profile to Facebook and Twitter, enabling you to share your memories with friends, this also makes it slightly easier to remember to take your daily photo.

If you have already started a project you can upload your images for previous dates and even years and continue with lots of inspiration.

Check out my project.... http://365project.org/Rachel

And feel free to follow me!

Thanks for reading and good luck with your 365 projects!
