<description>Author wrote: &quot;Shooting: I could speak forever on this topic alone&quot; yet barely offers shooting advice.

Did I miss understand the point of this article? It&#039;s listed in the how to photograph ... section.

Why not add: eat a healthy breakfast or bring an iPod for the lulls between performers...

Waste of my time.</description>

<description>Well, if you are interested in serious aviation &amp; air shows photography, you should read this tutorial: http://airshow-reviews.com/photography.html (not mine).

Air shows are one of my the most important points of interest. Here are some shots I made during past years:

Radom Air Show 2009: http://www.tomaszworek.com/gallery-radomairshow2009--en.html
Malopolski Air Show 2010: http://www.tomaszworek.com/gallery-mpl2010--en.html
Czech International Air Show 2010: http://www.tomaszworek.com/gallery-ciaf2010--en.html</description>

<description>great tips. I knew I could count on DPS for tips on shooting this weekends show at Dobbins AFB. I haven&#039;t seen the Angels in about 20 years so I&#039;m excited to have some much better gear this time around.</description>

		<description>HI,

Thanks for the tips. in 2 weeks I am going to the Royal International Air Tattoo Show (FairFord airbase in England). I am absolute beginner and this is my first air show. I am equipped (after a long saving period :-) ),with Canon EOS 450D, 18-55 mm f3.5-5.6, a Canon prime lens 60mm f2.8, and a zoom lens 55-250 f4-5.6. I know, not the best lenses (apart form the 60 mm) but this is my first time and will see how it goes. You are right about the weather and in England we have all seasons in one day (mind you at the moment it is pretty hot 25 C, well it is very hot for us :-) ). As far as I know there are no restrictions on entry but it is not free, parking is free. Besides, you also need another entrance ticket to a special place where you can get close to the runway. At 56 GBP per person (not cheap when u consider my wife and 2 more kids :-) and a compact camera for the boy and a binocular for the girls :-) ). Hope it is worth it.

Well, armed with these and your tips I should get 1 or 2 pictures right :-), thanks again.</description>

<description>A friend sent me your link and the tips for airshows were right on. I was all prepared to drag way too much equipment including a tripod or monopod, lenses, filters and lots of other gear but instead took a chance and just the suggested lenses.
It was much less to carry and worked out just fine.
I was reluctant to take an umbrella but it came in very useful when all of a sudden the weather changed and there was a torrential downpour.
It was basically a grey overcast sky and at the end of the day my faced glowed like a cherry. Don&#039;t forget the sunscreen.

Thanks for the great tips.

<description>went to three airshows last year and only at miramar did they check my bag. the airshows at riverside airport and chino airport, i went in and no one checked. by the way, the riverside airshow is completely free. parking is free and so is admission. word of advice, don&#039;t be so absolute in your advice unless you know for sure.

as far as the comfortable shoes? what? when i go to airshows, most of the action takes place high above. at the riverside airshow and chino airshow, you could bring foldable chairs and anywhere was a great view because the action takes place... yep... high above. in miramar, i sat on bleachers. so i spent most of the airshows watching planes and sitting.

other than that, not a bad article.</description>

<description>I have noticed that when I photograph something in the sky, I get a slightly white glow around the object. What am I doing wrong?</description>
