Thanks for the great tips,my favorite trick for flowers is waiting till the sun starts to go down,the light at the end of the day produces some great effects.One more tip,don’t stand between the light and the subject.l.o.l.

While shooting individual flowers is interesting, spring also gives opportunities to shoot flowery landscapes, which works well on a sunny day. We recently did a trip of southern California to shoot wildflower landscapes ..., later I realized that most of my shots were at 400mm, and it was a better choice compared to whay my kit lens would have produced.
