Hi, not sure if this is the way to go but I guess wanted to ask a general question and also to start a blog.

The question is;
1)whats the best way to get to grips with photoshop ie course Vs going through a manual & if the latter recommended reading material

The blog (though maybe also a question);
creating a negative from a digital image. Any comments. And is there a documented process out there specifically on customising curves

I used to submit to WhyGo, but they deleted their archive of photos a while ago. I had several photos that had been posted, but all the links are dead and I have been reluctant to submit ever since.
