Hi! I have noticed that there are reflectors with different colors on them, like gold or silver, instead of just white. now, i know that one can be used to fill in the light while another is used for a more warmer touch. my question is this. would there be no point in using on color over another because the white balance on the camera is already setting the tones for you? for example, why use the gold colored reflector if one can simply change the WB on the camera to cloudy? thx for the response!

If you change the whitebalance on the camera you also change the whitebalance for the background. by using a colored reflector you could give your subject a warmer/different color cast compared to the background to create different effects/moods.
I’m no expert but this seems like a logical reason for me. Someone corret me if I’m wrong.
